I'd like to start by mentioning dungeons/lockboxes and lockpicks are a nice feature added to the server. But I feel like the lockbox polution (other topic discussed an idea about it yet, which I like as well) and lockpicks are a bit of an issue. Lockpicks let's face it are expensive, even for people who've been playing the server for a lil while they are expensive :). I like the way they can be bought with boss tokens, but I feel like it's a high amount of tokens you need to invest in something that might break at first try. So I got a couple ideas that might make lockpicks a little less hard to get :). - One universal lockpick which has to be refilled (sorta like the mining picks) - A perk that makes lockpicks break less easy. - A skill which trains while using more and more lockpicks (like normal skills), higher skill means less chance on breaking. - Daily bosspoints can be used to buy lockboxes? Guess they could be used as well for lockpicks? ![]() - Reduce the cost of lockpicks (in bosstokens) to like 3. - Make lockpicks a rare drop from dungeon bosses? - ... The lockboxes on the other hand: - make them "breakable" with a runic transmute or something else, converting them into a bit of iron ore. - make them (as said in another topic) disappear/vanish after a certain amount of time. - X-amount of lockboxes can be traded for one closed one/open one. - Different perspective: make a clean achievement (x-amount of items thrown into a dustbin) to get a free perk. |

i like the idea of reducing the cost of lockpicks and the perk idea. only question is why would you want to break a lockbox into iron ore? iron ore only gets you t1's while lockboxs range from t1-t3 along with maps and lotto tickets. also the trading in the open lockboxs for a closed one shouldnt be a thing, just have to have the mall/pz areas clean more often. |

Breaking down the lockboxes into iron ore would be done with already used lockboxes :). |
